The Planning & Regeneration Service of the London Borough of Redbridge invited Virtual Viewing to tender for the development of a website, which – as well as providing valuable background information on the Borough, its excellent location and connections, and the local quality of life – would promote the area by emphasising its many opportunities for development.
Virtual Viewing’s team encompasses not just the skills of web-based design and presentation, but also our own Massive Scale Modelling (MSM) 3d technology, allied to a breadth of high-level experience in planning, development and regeneration. Given the breadth and depth of our offer, and our ability to work closely with partner organisations, we were perfectly placed to partner a local authority that was seeking to embrace technology to promote development and inward investment opportunities.
Working alongside our highly qualified urban planning and place-making consultants, our 3d modelling team developed a series of 3d maps and models of key development and investment opportunity sites, each rendered to be fully manipulable by website visitors in a web browser environment.
The deployment of Virtual Viewing’s OSCAR content management system allows the London Borough of Redbridge to update all key information within the website in ‘real time’, so that the latest demographic and to equally easily link in downloadable files to give web-site visitors more information.
