OSCAR – or Online System for Content Administration and Release – is Virtual Viewing’s own website content management solution.
Built using proven Microsoft technology, OSCAR is easy to use, powerful, fast and flexible. Including many high-end features straight off-the-shelf, it can be tailored to incorporate databases, email newsletter management and complex bespoke functionality to meet your company’s specific requirements.
As well as allowing you to quickly and easily create and edit articles, add images, multimedia files (such as Flash, PDF documents, video and audio files) and downloads, OSCAR can also be set up to allow you to add and edit menus and site sections, control and report on banner advertising, and manage user registrations.
Its suite of security features allow you to limit and tightly control access to its administration features, setting different access rights for different users to help you to control internal workflow as needed. Interactive forms mean that you can even allow website users to submit content for review and approval, while retaining full publishing control. OSCAR also lets you schedule content for publication, or to archive older items. |
